Since March 2025, Swiss Post has consolidated its transport and logistics services in goods logistics with the uniform “Swiss Post Cargo” market presence. With the further integration of its transport and logistics subsidiaries in neighbouring Germany, Italy and France, Swiss Post is not only strengthening its positioning as an integrated full-service provider in Switzerland, but also offering its customers seamless support along the most important European trade routes in and through Switzerland.

After integrating the first subsidiaries in Switzerland and Germany in 2025, the integration of the Italian subsidiary Iemoli Trasporti S.R.L. is now underway. This will be followed in 2027 by the integration of Portmann, the French transport and logistics subsidiary with 20 locations and over 1,000 employees. At the same time, Swiss Post is strengthening Swiss Post Cargo’s market presence in Switzerland and merging other in-house logistics specialists from the various Swiss regions into the Swiss Post Cargo Group to provide all transport, logistics, storage and customs clearance services from a single source. B-Sped Logistics (Schweiz) AG, H. Bucher Internationale Transporte AG and InTraLog Hermes AG now also operate as Swiss Post Cargo. In mid-June 2026, Destinas AG, Gaiser Transporte AG and Relatra AG will be merged into Swiss Post Cargo CH Ltd, and eoscop AG will be merged into Swiss Post Cargo Holding Ltd.

Integration strengthens customer focus and one-stop shop for services

Customers benefit from the intelligent linking of the various goods logistics services, and Swiss Post Cargo’s integration strengthens its positioning as a full-service provider with a comprehensive, uniform range of services, clear contact partners and a rapid response to new needs. A key part of this integration is the gradual harmonization of the service portfolio and the switch to shared systems. Coordinated processes across all integrated subsidiaries create greater transparency and simplify collaboration both internally and externally.

Greater scalability and efficiency also boost Swiss Post Cargo’s innovative strength and broaden the options for customizing services to meet specific customer requirements. The modern logistics center in Villmergen, canton of Aargau, which opened in 2025, is another key step in advancing Swiss Post’s ambitions in this market. With further integrations under one roof, the company is strengthening Swiss Post Cargo’s customer focus and visibility in Switzerland and beyond.
