How it works
Collect consignment
The goods are collected from the sender in China by truck and transported to the nearest port of departure.Maritime transport
The first leg of the journey is by ship from China to the international hub in Dubai.Transshipment at hub
The goods are transferred from the sea port to the airport at the Dubai hub, including all necessary handling and security processes.Air transport

Swiss Post Cargo takes care of the entire coordination of the sea-air transport – beginning with collection from the sender and initiating sea transport, transshipment at the international hub followed by air freight and then final delivery by truck. Customs clearance and document processing are also an integral part of the service, reducing interfaces, shortening turnaround times and minimizing regulatory risks.

Each consignment must have a clearly visible transport label. This contains the following information at a minimum:
- Sender address
- Recipient address
- Reference or consignment number
- Barcode for unique identification
